Chuck Todd basically just shut Andrea Mitchell up about "tight race between Hillary and Bernie"

She was doing her usual "ignore that the race is over at 8pm Tuesday night in New Jersey/Bernie might win Ca and Oh Noes" spiel. Todd stopped her and said that yesterdays speech took the air out of the CA primary and that the primary race now seemed really really small because the general is on! He also said that Hillary proved that she is the one to beat Trump!

I think everything is changing and the Democratic party's attacks on Trump this week with Hillary's awesome speech finally but an end to Bernie and crushed Trump.

Joe was in hiding and Mika was heaping praise on Hillary and calling for the Republican party to find another candidate and get rid of Trump. She basically said that the entire GOP looked like lying assholes for endorsing Trump.

The entire morning was awesome clips of Hillary's speech and praise....then ripping Trump apart for the entire week and calling Ryan weak and wrong.

but Walk Away did a good job of reporting what Mika said. Mika basically said it was one of her best speeches, and that Hillary's done what 16 Republican candidates couldn't do – knock Trump down. I was a little in shock that she said all that, considering it was Mika.

Apparently, Trump's not very happy with Mika or Joe right now...

Trump/Clinton debates on primetime national broadcasts will be the 'jewel in the crown' of network media political coverage through November.

I would expect some real groveling regarding both candidates going forward - it's still "all about the Tubman's!"

I bet the M$M is considering the very real chance of no presidential debates!

You can bet there would be no substantive exchange between Hillary and Trump at a debate - it would just be 'an entertainment.'

The way Hillary described Trump yesterday, some must be advising her not to elevate his status as a viable candidate, which a debate would do!

Here's the next 'tell' I'm watching for from M$M. The 'email story' fades away!

Hillary will just be Hillary.. takin' care of business.

between Mitchell and Todd because Andrea Mitchell always looks as if she's sucking a pickle while making comments about HRC. There's some sort of bad blood there. Not to say that Chuck Todd is all that neutral in Clinton coverage, but Mitchell takes the cake.

It's amazing how a single speech, a single political/policy presentation can change the entire dynamic in any election cycle. This was Hillary's finest moment to date and it has changed everything. I'm betting it was a prologue of things to come: The Donald's obliteration. Curious, too, that St Bernard has fallen off the map in the same moment. Any Democrat who thought Hillary Clinton would be swamped by The Hair That Ate New York woke up to a brand new day.

I'm loving it!
