Lynda Carter isnt just offering Hillary Clinton an early endorsement; the Wonder Woman actress says the former secretary of State can even claim the Lasso of Truth as her own.
Carter, who famously donned a patriotic leotard and golden belt as the superheroine on the 1970s TV show, told ITK recently shes rooting for Clinton in 2016.
Hillary has my endorsement for all of her life and mine, Carter said of Clinton, who has not formally thrown her Amazonian tiara into the ring.
But its not just Clinton who Carter says she admires: The women who are in Congress are the ones that float my boat, the Washington-area resident said.
Look at other countries who have suppressed women theyre a mess! she exclaimed, before quickly adding, Were a mess too sometimes but we need more women in politics, on whatever side youre on. We just need the complexity and fire that women have.

Wonder Woman Isn`t Much Help In Bcci Scandal
August 04, 1991|By Michael Kilian, Chicago Tribune.
WASHINGTON If you ever wondered what happened to Wonder Woman, a.k.a. Lynda Carter, the statuesque actress whose comic-bookesque ``Wonder Woman`` TV series ran from 1976 to 1979, well...she married (in 1984) hot-shot Washington lawyer Robert Altman, junior partner and protege of Clark Clifford, longtime lobbyist/lawyer, presidential confidant and former defense secretary...
Trouble is, husband Robert and his boss, Clifford, are finding themselves all over the newspapers these days as major players with the capital`s First American Bankshares Inc., a bank holding company that turns out to have been connected with the notorious Bank of Credit and Commerce International. With a client list that allegedly includes some of the world`s least savory terrorists and drug dealers, BCCI has not only won the sobriquet ``sleaziest bank in the world`` but also was hit with indictments in New York charging bribery and fraud.
Now, you can point out that the husband was acquitted, eventually. But, Clark Clifford was a major fixer in DC for fifty years. Even with all the strings Clifford could pull, it took Altman $10 M of legal fees to escape the law.
Is this really the kind of person who's endorsement is going to help HRC?
My advice:
Run, Hillary, Run - as far away from Wonder Woman as you can.
"Is this really the kind of person who's endorsement is going to help HRC?"
Did her husband Robert endorse Hillary? Was Carter implicated in this?
Geez, you 'progressives' and the "smear Hillary at all costs" jihad. And the misogyny of it all, as if a women can't stand on her own and back someone independent of her husband.

HRC does not have to accept her nomination, and IMHO, she would be wise not to.
All the rest is you reading in. And, listen to how you sound - you sound like Bill dodging and weaving.
Same old wyldwolf.
Cheers.
