then he said he would be in D.C. and he was for statehood for them and he hates Trump. He spent more time running for the D.C. primary than anything else.

What kind of strategy is it that you end the primary season by losing in landslides in numerous contests? How does that help your imagined leverage with the Party and at the convention?

Sanders was hoping for big victories in CA and elsewhere to give him a talking point that he was a strong candidate heading into the convention. Well, the opposite has happened, but he's still acting like he picked up steam by getting his ass kicked.

I do have issues with his cold tone toward Hillary in his speech before his supporters in Los Angeles on June 7th. He mentioned her almost as if it were an after thought, and that was unfortunate since Hillary mentioned him and his supporters in extremely complementary terms.

I suspect much of it is because he is not happy with the results, but after March, this is what was written on the wall, so this should not have been a surprise to anyone.

But I believe Sanders cut President Obama's endorsement of Hillary Clinton off at the pass when he said at his campaign speech presser in front of the White House, twice, that he was grateful that President Obama and Vice President Biden "didn't put their finger on the scale" in favor of Hillary. If President Obama and VP Biden were planning on endorsing her right after the meeting, that's been stopped dead with that statement since there is still Washington DC's primary election.

Pretty ingenuous, if not, disingenuous.

Yes, I know that many people have been saying that President Obama wouldn't endorse until after the primary election was over, but in Iamartist's OP here it mentions that President Obama "is expected to formally endorse Hillary Clinton shortly after the meeting."

On the other hand, it would only be fair to not interfere in the DC primary election by endorsing too early, although I have to admit, I'd rather he did since it's clear who our nominee is by any accounting - unlike how it was in 2008 when it was so close!

29. I've always been fascinated (or distracted) by the way he ...

... uses his hands to "tap-out" in mid-air the individual syllables of the words he's speaking.

It's also odd to see this other thing he does... it's difficult to describe... it's as if he's visualized a row of shelves in front of him that are filled with an array small items (spice jars?) ... then with his hands, he'll choose and "grab" individual invisible items (that presumably represent the words and phrases he's speaking).

I get so fixated and distracted by wondering what he actually "sees" and wondering where he's going to "grab" next, that it's difficult to pay attention to what he's trying to say.
