Undeclared Democratic Party chairs begin migration to Clinton

By DANIEL STRAUSS 06/10/16 05:01 PM EDT

Undeclared Democratic Party chairmen are coming off the sidelines and declaring their support for Hillary Clinton now that she's the presumptive Democratic nominee.

Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Bruce Poole is backing Clinton, he told POLITICO via text message on Friday, adding that the Clinton campaign is now aware of his support. Even though Clinton won Maryland, 63 percent to Bernie Sanders' 32 percent, Poole said he had delayed supporting the former secretary of state because he wanted to let the primary play out and give Sanders and Clinton time to make their cases.

By winning the largest state in the union California and finishing strong in the remaining primary contests, I believe Hillary's more than on her way to making the case to be the Dem nominee for POTUS.
