I only heard part of his interview today but did VPJoe Biden say that BOTH parties have not listened

This discussion thread was locked by William769 (a host of the Hillary Clinton group).

to the average American worker? Even after seeing that video of Hillary talking to women, children, the disabled, blacks, and the many, many town hall meetings she has held across this country since 2008? Please tell me he cleaned that up? There is no way any Dem should be saying that the parties are alike in any way.

I hope he said in the part that I missed that we now have a candidate who has spent her life listening to the American people at all levels. She indeed, stepped into the lions den in W.VA. trying to let them know that heard them but also trying to inform them of how the economy has changed and expressing her plans to help them change with it.

My god, with friends like our leaders who needs enemies.

He suffered a major loss. He may regret not entering this campaign, and he knows that this is probably the end of his public life, unless he finds something else like... joining Sanders' revolution?

I wish he were not speaking tonight but, I suppose, to keep him out would really have been humiliating.

She is someone who has spent many hours LISTENING to and TALKING directly to average Americans about their needs and issues. It seemed to me that Biden was being directly dismissive of her in that respect saying that both parties have failed to listen to the average working American and Trump has. That's why Trump is doing so well with white males.

Did Social Security help poor white males? Did Medicare? Did unemployment benefits? Did food stamps?

I am sorry, but Democrats have not been tone deaf to the poor or to the average American worker. And after the video showing Hillary caring and talking directly to some of these people and facing those miners in PA and talking directly to them about helping them in a new economy.
