Remember When We Were Told That Hillary Couldn't Beat Trump?

Remember when we were told to support other candidates because they were polling better against Trump?

Geez, what a difference a week makes! Hillary is up 15 points over Trump in the latest poll.

Aren't you happy you were with her then? Aren't you excited the majority of voters are with her now?

But Hillary is the greatest living pro at this game, having campaigned for Bill and then for herself. Trump is in way over his head.

btw, everyone enjoying widespread pundit chatter abt how the woman's only winning b/c the man's so bad?

She's winning, so they need to insist that it is only because she faced the weakest opponent. Malarkey, at 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Only polls AFTER the conventions are considered predictive of final GE outcomes. We still have a ways to go, but only now will I even LOOK at a presidential poll.

I always felt confident about Clinton's performance against Trump. And he is sucking harder than I expected too. The attacks on a Gold Star family exceeded my expectations in a horrific kind of way.

blowing him out despite years of scrutiny against her and despite supposedly high unfavorable numbers. She never polled terribly against him--it's just that the other candidates weren't subject to a barrage of heavy attacks yet like her, thus polling slightly better. I can only imagine how much higher her numbers would be if it weren't for the GOP constantly going after her and if the traditional media would do real objective journalism on the regular. Much of the reason why she's not more popular than she is rests on things that are out of control and what her adversaries say about her.
