CNN on-air, 7-8 pm ET, today, Friday: Sanders campaign furious over last-minute Debate changes. (Hillary Group)

As I understand from viewing on-air, CNN called all three candidates and notified them that the debate plan would be changed in order to focus on the terror attacks in Paris.

Clinton and O'Malley were fine, but the Sanders campaign apparently raised quite a ruckus. Bernie apparently had his plan and wanted to stick to it. The focus on foreign issues, of course, is no problem for the former Secretary of State.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out on CBS, starting at 9:00.

* ON EDIT: Source: Sanders aide 'threw a fit' over debate's foreign policy focus

* ANOTHER EDIT: Anyone want to start a Debate thread? (I decline.)

He needs the skills to handle changes, if not he is not ready to be president. Hillary has lots of foreign affairs experience, she will do well. Maybe he will shout be doesn't want to hear any more about the damn attacks.

Bernie supporters better understand that he will lose next year's election if he comes into the campaign unwilling to discuss foreign policy.

I imagine Mark Longabaugh has some 'splaining to do--he comes off like an idiot. And he was QUOTED, too, and NAMED--so he'll have a hard time denying it, particularly if there were a lot of people on that call.

CNN)An aide to Bernie Sanders "threw a fit" when CBS informed the campaigns in a conference call Saturday that the Democratic debate would kick off with a focus on the attacks in Paris, a person who was on the call told CNN.

"Once CBS informed the campaigns the debate was going to kick off with a focus on the attacks in Paris last night, he (Mark Longabaugh, a Sanders strategist) completely lost it. He threw a fit for several minutes," the source said.

Longabaugh argued that "this wasn't part of the deal. It shouldn't be allowed. It wasn't advertised as a foreign policy debate and it's turning into a debate it wasn't supposed to be," the source added.

The source also said Longabaugh's outburst was "met with stunned silence. It was really crazy."

CBS stood by its change and representatives for Hillary Clinton and Martin O'Malley's campaigns agreed to the change, the source added......"They wanted to make some last-minute changes to the debate. We obviously wanted to keep the format to what had been agreed to and I think people on our staff argued vigorously to that and were successful," Weaver told CNN.

"We ended up prevailing," said Weaver, who added that Sanders went over Paris-specific questions Saturday morning.

Sanders comes off as afraid to confront emergency situations, like he can't cope when something unanticipated happens. Not good optics for him, and he can thank his shit-flinging aide for that.

Nora O'Donnell is saying that the events of Paris will change the dynamic of the debate, on CBS, right now.

The former SECSTATE has experience in this regard.

They showed her arriving at the debate site--she looks ... PREPARED.

… that's likely common throughout his organization.

Even if Bernie wasn't the one being directly "quoted", I'm convinced that the staffer was accurately representing his feelings on the matter. Bernie is the one that sets the tone, and everyone else follows.
