CBS Poll: Hillary Clinton Has Huge Support, Christie Has Most Skepticshttp://newyork.cbslocal.com/2015/03/29/cbs-presidential-poll-hillary-clinton-has-huge-support-christie-has-most-skeptics/
Hillary Rodham Clinton still holds a commanding lead over the potential Democratic field in the 2016 presidential race and Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has plenty of skeptics to overcome if he decides to run, a new CBS Poll finds.
When asked which GOP candidates they would consider voting for, Republicans gave former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush the edge, with 51 percent saying they might support him. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (42 percent), Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (39 percent), Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (39 percent) and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (37 percent) rounded out the top five.

On the Democratic side, the Clinton email saga appears to have done little to damage her reputation among voters.
For the second month in a row, a whopping 81 percent of Democrats said they would consider voting for the former secretary of state and New York senator for the partys nomination.

We have a lot of self-described "purists" here who never forgive and never forget. She's not perfect - who is? - but I still think she's the our best choice and best chance to keep the White House in '16.

(4,188 posts)weren't all that thrilled about PBO winning the nomination over Hillary, and I think most finally did get behind him. I think it's likely to be pretty much the same scenario this time.

(71,265 posts)I love both of them and when she lost last time I very easily supported Obama.

(4,188 posts)I supported Hillary until the nomination was decided, then enthusiastically got behind PBO's candidacy. I'll never forget my overjoyed and overwhelmed tears on election night. Hope to repeat that experience with Hillary.

The GOP doesn't have anyone who would stick their toe in the water, I think the GOP primary will be a clown show none before.
I want a good primary of substance, one to put DNC issues for all to see and let the people decide.

(4,188 posts)a non-scandal when they see it, I think. Fewer of us live in a bubble than those on the right.
If last cycle was any indication, "clown car" will be a description far too kind. The nuts are even nuttier this round.
Agreed - I want a good discussion about issues.

Several of our friends are on forced vacations and they can say whatever they want about Hillary and her supporters.
But if we open our mouths we get compared to the Stasi.
Yeah we litterally got compared to the Staei yesterday.
