Hillary Clinton Campaign Calls Donald Trump’s Comments ‘Degrading’ to Women

There is a video at the link if you want to to hear his vulgar comments.
At first I thought Hillary should directly comment back to Trump--but she is wiser than me. She is staying above the gutter politics of vulgar donald. Good for her.

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign today blasted Republican front-runner Donald Trump for what it called sexually derogatory comments he made at a campaign rally Monday night.

"We are not responding to Trump but everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should,” communications director Jen Palmieri tweeted.

During a campaign event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Trump referred to Clinton's performance in the 2008 election.

"Even a race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama. I don't know who would be worse, I don't know, how could it be worse?" he told the crowd. "She was favored to win and she got [expletive], she lost, I mean she lost.”

The GOP front-runner also attacked Clinton for taking a bathroom break during Saturday’s Democratic debate in New Hampshire.

"I know where she went, it's disgusting, I don't want to talk about it,” Trump said. “No, it's too disgusting. Don't say it, it's disgusting, let's not talk, we want to be very, very straight up. ....................

An XXX rated movie. It is embarrassing to have this guy as an American, he wants to complain about Muslims, he is falling in line with ideas of disrespect of women. I doubt he would be happy to have his mother addressed this way.

Some Bozo was fussing about it and a woman on the panel remarked about how far from the stage the ladies room was located. She said the campaign had even tried to address it with the hosts. Haven't seen that reported anywhere else.

Not sayin' it makes ANY dif, just found it interesting.

the vitriol, innuendo, conjecture directed at Hillary for going on three or more decades now?

Wasn't it when Gore ran we had the mythological phenomenon of 'Clinton fatigue'? It was a warning, for some inexplicable reason, SHE will always be this target anytime she puts three words together and they can twist it to fit the meme.

It's cute and of no importance when Trump actually lies repeatedly says the M$M - but it is always Hillary who has to answer to and live at the "higher standard" she is held to.

This is another of her admirable presidential qualities, the strength to endure this for so long, knowing it will be coming relentlessly, and carry on calmly and professionally.

Hillary is every bit of this and so much more, our warrior!

Your post reminded me of this article. The author likes Hillary and has been studying how the media demonizes women. She runs through the litany of seemingly no-win situations HRC is able to negotiate. When you get time it's worth a read. I bet you enjoy it.

What a good read!

And her story moves me, on that level, simply as an example of a woman who got every misogynist trick in the world thrown at her, and who didn’t let it slow her down. On that level, she’s actually become a bit of a personal role model: When people yell at me, or dislike me, I no longer think oh, how horrible this is for me. I now think, well, if Hillary can do it. Seriously. If Hillary Clinton can be called an evil hag by major media outlets for most of her adult life and run for President, I can deal with blocking ten or twenty guys on Twitter. She’s dealt with more shit than I have. She’s still going. I really have no excuse not to do the same.

But she shouldn’t have to deal with it. This is all the byproduct of a misogynist culture. If you can cut through those expectations, or change them, a different woman – potentially a very different candidate – would emerge on the other side. So saying nice things about Hillary Clinton, for me, isn’t just something I do because I feel good about her. It’s not even something I do to piss people off. It’s a way to shift cultural dialogue, to allow for a world where women aren’t suffocated or crushed by our expectations of them – a world where Hillary, and every future female President or Presidential candidate, can focus on the task at hand, and not have to climb over a barbed-wire fence of hatred in order to change the world.

“THE DETAILS
Sen. Ted Cruz now trails Donald Trump by only four percentage points, according to a new national Quinnipiac University poll. Trump stands at 28%, with Cruz at 24%, Sen. Marco Rubio at 12% and Dr. Ben Carson at 10%. No other GOP candidate tops 6%.”

On to the important stuff

…On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Bernie Sanders 61% to 30%, with Clinton besting Trump in a general election matchup, 47% to 40%. A full 50% of Americans say they’d be “embarrassed” to have Donald Trump as president, compared to only 23% who say they’d be “proud.”

One out of ten Democrats don't think she would beat any Republican!

Blood, Sweat and Trump

Frank Bruni DEC. 23, 2015

..............The fluids of women in particular rattle Trump. When a lawyer who was questioning him during a 2011 deposition asked for a break so that she could leave the room and pump breast milk for her 3-month-old daughter, he was unhinged.

“You’re disgusting,” he berated her, according to a story in The Times earlier this year by Michael Barbaro and Steve Eder. Then he stormed out of the deposition.

More famously, he reflected on Megyn Kelly’s interrogation of him at the first Republican presidential debate by saying that “you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”

Clinton’s bathroom break — or, more precisely, Trump’s revulsion toward it — lies at the intersection of his misogyny and his fastidiousness. He’s a germophobe who once labeled himself “a clean hands freak,” called handshakes a “terrible custom” and said that the obligation to engage in them was one of the great curses of celebrity like his...........
