Sanders wants raw votes released

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/feb/02/bernie-sanders-requests-vote-count-tight-finish-iowa-caucus-clinton

Presented without comment, because I'm certain all you good people are thinking the same and will happily say it.

From the article:

“I honestly don’t know what happened. I know there are some precincts that have still not reported. I can only hope and expect that the count will be honest,” he said. “I have no idea. Did we win the popular vote? I don’t know, but as much information as possible should be made available.”

It's quite telling however, that a woman can't win a contest without the whole world declaring her somehow the loser.

yes. Will this have an impact in NH? Probably not, but it's not going to enamor him to the Democrats in other states.

Maybe he can stand out front of Clinton's hotel room chanting "She's a Liar!"

More than one report of Bernie's caucusers saying sexist things and harassing Clinton causcusers. I can't imagine how they think they are going to win this with negativity and intimidation. That stuff starts at the top, imo.

Who cares about the popular vote there it's not a contest of popular votes
I guess they will sue themselves to win
Be careful of what you wish just might find out she won with the most people present.

Often the Dem party doesn't release raw vote totals to the public for political reasons, but the candidates should each have them.

It's always about the evil machine screwing Sanders. I am beginning to loathe him as a candidate. I am not even talking about voting for him if he wins the nomination because it ain't ever going to happen. No matter what kind of free gifts he offers his fans.

19. He should do what he wants....

If he wants to attempt to have Hillary further denigrated by by generating among his supporters, more of the name calling, that's sad. If he claims to be working under the DNC's apparatus, then considering that this was so close, than it shouldn't matter to the extent of distracting the goal of the Democrats, as this was only the first primary.

It is understood that the Sanders campaign need something further to try and turn off as many voters, especially minority voters as possible from Hillary, I get it. But winning on the issues is what they should want, without one of those issues being Hillary Clinton's character, as when they do this, they are only helping Rubio become the next President. In-party squabbling never looks leader-like, and fanning the fire is a part of that. We all should be mindful that these are the primaries, not the general election.

The media is also pushing the meme....because in the end, they are Corporate stooges, including MSNBC, who have gotten quite bold at stirring the shit. They know liberals watch their Corporate channel more than the rest, which is why they show Clinton with the box checked as the winner as often as possible. They want the two sides to infight to a point that the party will be split up, and the Republican will win. It is that simple, and the question is who will take the bait, and who will take the high road? I am hoping both spit the bait out to say no thanks, and get back to the issues, rather than attempting at the politics of destruction, which neither side should be engaging in......as we are supposed to be in the same party.

He's not making an accusation ... he's just "asking a question".

It's a passive-aggressive way of making an accusation without being direct or blunt. Just planting doubts and innocently suggesting that "if there are concerns, it should be investigated".

Don't you think Bernie Sanders already looks really tired at this point? I mean, really run down already? Kind of low energy and possibly like he's not well?

I'm just asking a question, here.

I think the public is pretty cognizant of that. The Iowa Dem Party said this is the closest apart two candidates have ever been before. Were this a publicly run election, I'd think a recount this close would be automatic in most US jurisdictions. as I said upthread, I am surprised Bernie is asking for the raw vote totals as I thought both the candidates had volunteers at each precinct with apps that were amassing those totals.
