Protecting Clinton Democrat Interests

Although I'm not a FERVENT Hillary supporter, I do believe that she was clearly the better choice in 2008 and will more than likely be the superior choice in 2016 given that the Republicans seem to have a penchant for putting up candidates who are not electable or with the interests of the middle and working classes in their sight.

Given that, like most of you, I was VERY dismayed by what happened to Hillary in 2008. The short of it was that Barack Obama was not qualified in my view to be President given that his campaign was driven largely by rhetoric with very little specifics. In addition, there was CLEARLY an experience issue with respect to Obama---specifically, a lack of it. That said,I am privy to some information which suggests that it is POSSIBLE that such a 2008 scenario could very well happen again where an outsider gets the nomination. Given this, I would like to see that this doesn't occur. Moreover, IF it should occur by some unforeseen circumstance, I want to see that Clinton strongholds are preserved both at the state and local levels. As such, I would at this time like to request your assistance in these endeavors. If interested, send me a personal message here at the DU or email me at ericreinhardt2003@yahoo.com Thank you.

operation.

Go ahead and banish me from your "protected" group, if you don't like my opinion. But, this much is evident - US military intervention in Syria will not help the Hillary Clinton brand.

Thanks for your reply, leveymg. Certainly you are entitled to your opinion. With respect to regime changes around the world, it is clear that there is a democratic contingent that doesn't believe in US meddling overseas. In some instances, where non-oppressive regimes are concerned, that is certainly warranted. However, in other cases, I believe a case can be made for US intervention. I would classify Syria under Assad as an oppressive regime. It also is a terrorist group supporter. That has been documented. Irregardless, it is not a pretty picture about what is going on over there right now. About 100,000 dead in nearly 2 years fighting and if Assad remains in power those numbers will certainly increase. Be that as it may, there is always room for debate with respect to foreign affairs.

Thanks for your post. But please refrain from taking pot shots at President Barack Obama. Thank you.

Good enough. Plenty of other people doing that right now. I don't need to pile on. ; )
