Just getting the conversation started for what will be all over DU when Clinton wins the SC primary next Saturday. I could probably even give you the names of who is going to post the hateful and derogatory statements about the outcome in SC.
Just look at the thread concerning Rachel Maddow if you want to see how viscously certain people attack when someone is judged not to be ideologically pure by the standards of their revolution.

(13,869 posts)Meant next weekend, editing. The Maddow thread got me turned around this morning.
And, it does look like Trump will win here today, but I bet it will be closer than the polls have shown over the past few months. I think his demise is about to begin.

(1,968 posts)Hillary was hiding an ace up her sleeve! (Forget that Hillary won't actually be at each voting site for a moment and run with it).
(I'm not sure what South Carolina does, but both cards and coins are extremely commonly used in case of ties, so one or the other, I'm sure).
I'm not sure if they've thought of it, but a theoretical Sanders win in Nevada today would be tainted by Republican crossover votes and that would weaken the momentum meme and rhetoric.

(13,869 posts)Shouldn't be any ties. The ties in Iowa were at the precinct level where you might only have a few dozen participants.
18 are allocated to the overall state winner, and another 35 are proportioned based on the % of vote statewide. Also there are 8 super delegates by position, and another 7 who will be chosen at the State convention. As a show of unity, those 7 are usually allocated as 4 to the winner and 3 to the runner-up.
