At the time it was passed, we were losing over 700,000 jobs per month. TARP immediately turned that around, creating the "bottom" of the bikini.
If everyone had voted like Bernie, there would not have been that turnaround. The economy would have completely collapsed and we would have entered a second Great Depression.
