Clinton still way ahead with Democrats - HRC GROUP POST

tucked away in the latest Quinnipiac poll....

Among Democrats, Clinton has a wide lead with 57 percent. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders came in a distant second with 15 percent. Vice President Joe Biden took 9 percent. Former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley was tied with former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee and former Virginia Senator Jim Webb at 1 percent.

since so few know who Senator Sanders (I-VT) is, polling would be pointless without explaining who he is, while Hillary has 100% name recognition.

My gut feeling, given the general public indifference to him, lack of funding, etc., is that Sanders may hit a plateau around 18-20 percent, then fade rapidly.

If I recall correctly, he was at 13% before, so he's gotten exactly 2% out of his saturation of the talk shows and official announcement.

Democrats identifying as very liberal support Hillary at 61%.

Very liberal Democrats support Senator Sanders (I-VT) at 28%.

That's pretty close to 2 out of 3 liberals prefer Hillary!

"1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a flame war!" Just kidding..............aren't I?

He is going to have to do much better then that if he doesn't want to become a joke candidate.
But I guess it is better then O'Malley's 1%.

I wonder how long the polls will continue to include Biden. Clinton's numbers should improve slightly once he drops out. And O'Malley's entry into the race may help split the anti-Clinton vote.

express loyalty to Obama more than any real support for Biden. The VP is the conventional next candidate, but Baden himself hasn't uttered a syllable indicating that he wants to run.
