Hillary Clinton supporters are extremely or very enthusiastic by 54% to Senator Bernie Sanders supporters who are extremely or very enthusiastic by 44%. So Democrats need not fear no matter which candidate wins the 2016 primaries. Both are capable of whipping up enthusiasm. And there dies another Beltway narrative. Not just a "Beltway narrative" ...

In fact, Hillary Clinton supporters are extremely or very enthusiastic by 54% to Senator Bernie Sanders supporters who are extremely or very enthusiastic by 44%.
So Democrats need not fear no matter which candidate wins the 2016 primaries. Both are capable of whipping up enthusiasm. The winds of enthusiasm are behind both candidates, and Clinton is drawing more than her fair share of enthusiasm.
She is leading in the popular vote for good reason.

(15,365 posts)so many OPs and put so many DUers - some I used to admire and respect - on Full Ignore.
They are carrying the GOP's water by repeating its smears against Hillary rather than promoting their candidate in a positive manner. I find that totally UNACCEPTABLE here.
Since the Admins and Juries won't stop it, at least I don't have to read that crap for myself.

(11,562 posts)At the Washington caucus I attended I didn't hear one single true thing said about Hillary Clinton (or Sanders either for that matter--he is a deity).

(5,044 posts)Momentum should be measured in votes and not rally popularity. I don't blame my fellow supporters that are supporting Sander's-we're all going to support our candidates, however Sander's surrogates are not doing the party justice.
We have two very popular and incredible candidates.

Caveat: this does not include vote totals in caucus states, but even with Bernie's wins in recent caucus states, Hillary is still WAY ahead in popular votes.
PS: I love how caucus results - the least democratic means of measurement because they require actual physical presence, with no early or absentee voting, and especially when at least some caucus-goers are personally pressured to change their vote preferences - are cited as meaningful evidence that the electoral tide has turned.
