Hillary: "No indication there is any interest" that Sanders would help elect more Democrats

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/04/04/1510103/-Hillary-No-indication-there-is-any-interest-that-Sanders-would-help-elect-more-Democrats

We here at the DailyKos have pointed out for a long time how Bernie seems to be not conducive to and interested in helping other Democrats getting elected. It is truly confounding that he seems so uninterested in helping other Democrats get elected, because were he to win the nomination the only way he could get anything accomplished from his big, ambitious agenda is if he has a more friendly Senate and House (which means, MORE DEMOCRATS in both bodies). So, we have watched with relative dismay as Bernie has time and time again not done his part in that supposed mutual “partnership”.

No Ranging from his dismissive “We’ll see” when asked when he would start fundraising for Democrats, as he explicitly agreed to in writing when he signed on with the DNC to use our fundraising databases, infrastructure, monies, to never going out of his way to mention or introduce local politicians who are trying to wrestle seats in Congress away from entrenched Republicans in the various cities and states he holds his large rallies in, missed opportunities as that would help us all.

Now Hillary is saying what we’ve been complaining about as one of the biggest failings of Bernie’s candidacy, in her sit-down interview with ABC News: Bernie is not helpful when it comes to electing DEMOCRATS to Congress.

when it comes to electing DEMOCRATS to Congress.

Elizabeth Warren is helpful

Sherrod Brown is helpful

Al Franken is helpful

Kirsten Gillibrand is helpful

Bernie, in this important campaign season, is missing in action when it comes to helping select Progressives, or any kind of Democrats, to Congress

Bernie, RIGHT NOW you are NOT an Independent. Right now, you are a DEMOCRAT. Temporary as it may be, you have signed onto it, have submitted papers to that effect with all the states. You are NOT an Independent right about now, you are vying for the DEMOCRATIC nomination, and you are taking part in the party goodness by using the DNC structure.

2. It Isn't His Role - According To This Article

Gawd he makes my skin crawl.

Sanders had been mayor of Burlington from 1981 until 1989, institutionalizing progressive government in the city and other Vermont enclaves. Although he has been in Washington since his election to the House of Representatives in 1991, he remained the titular head of the movement, yet refused to endorse a progressive slate seeking City Council seats or the new leadership orchestrating the campaigns.

After discussing his favorite issues — corporations, government reform, health care and the like, I asked about his unwillingness to endorse his fellow progressives. He said it wasn't his role. I suggested voters might expect him to weigh in. He disagreed, clearly annoyed at the persistent questioning. Finally I suggested that he had a larger moral responsibility to the progressive movement.

At which point he jumped out of his seat, told me to go f*** myself and stormed out of the edit board meeting.
OK, maybe my persistence bordered on hectoring. But I felt he ought to provide an honest answer. My suspicion was that he resented others for assuming his mantle of progressive leadership and wouldn't acknowledge them.http://lansingcitypulse.com/article-12189-the-trouble-with-bernie.html

Just calling your self a Democrat so you can run on the Democratic ticket is not being a Democrat.

All BS wanted was to gain access to the party resources! He gives nothing in return.

If he wants to lead, it is part of his role.

It really comes down to the fact that Bernie Sanders is still an Independent.

never having to do diddly squat for the party you caucus with.

Years of phone-banking and talking to those who consider themselves "I" or as I like to call them "unaffiliated" gives them an excuse to not volunteer or donate.

His demise in this race can't happen soon enough - a bottle of champagne might be in order!

He hates to share the stage with anyone. In debates, he launches into his stump speech, whatever the question, like he's at a rally. He's using the Democratic party, just like he's using his supporters and their money.

Seems to me he is not really running for Democratic ticket although he claims he is.to me, either he is out to destroy the Democratic party or helping (R) party its confusing why he is running for the Democratic party when he does nothing for the Democratic party or not donating money toward the Democratic party Why??? is the big question..I never trusted him from day one,my opinion also

And yes I used to listen to him on the Tom Hartmann show so I knew who he was but most don't go see what your BSers sayings about our Hillary over there on Tom's radio show nothing but the bad...

Yes, it's become abundantly clear that Bernie, some of his surrogates, and nearly all of his supporters are out to "gut the Democratic Party". They've confessed as much on Twitter:https://twitter.com/TAW3343/status/709101923035557888

We have, in total four, but unofficially. We have two Pugs (black and fawn - fawn is 13), a Chow (12 1/2), and our daughter's Chihuahua, age unknown since we rescued her.

Harley (fawn Pug) sits with me at my desk, but he doesn't really bother me. He's half-blind and a little arrogant (lol - he's champion sired and champion bloodline - but with a White paw!), but he's sweet. He was previously owned by a Greek family who couldn't stand his shedding, and at three years young, ten years ago, they gave him to hubby, papers and all, and didn't want a penny. They were so happy we took him in. He's been with us ever since.

This is his papa (Woody, on the right, who had won numerous 1st prizes) and he used to look exactly like him before he started to go gray.

Woody passed away on 02/13/2013, eleven days after Harley's 10th b-day (Harley's b-day: 02/02/2003). Harley never leaves my side!

Maybe he wanted to make a name for himself since he was not much but a unknown Senator in Vermont to most and running on a Dem ticket would get him coverage big time from the Media
