Nina Turner compares the support Hillary has among Congress and groups to the support of slavery
Sigh. Every damn day. A little background on this clip. Lawrence had Barney Frank and Nina Turner on tonight to debate their candidates. Barney began by stating how Hillary had the backing of the CBC, Planned Parenthood, HRC, Most of the Senate and much of the House. Nina's response... well see for yourself.
https://twitter.com/AndrewKilljoy/status/717212823265402880 "There was a time in this country when the majority of folks thought slavery was ok, too" You cannot make this up.

4. Thanks for the link. I see Sanders never really thought about how he would break up the banks.
That Daily News interview shows Sanders is just clueless. Scarey really. He has no real plans, he just relies on demagoguery ... like Trump.

18. This part of that Daily News article
Jaw dropping -
Daily News: Okay. You saw, I guess, what happened with Metropolitan Life. There was an attempt to bring them under the financial regulatory scheme, and the court said no. And what does that presage for your program?
Sanders: It’s something I have not studied, honestly, the legal implications of that. No need to think it through if you know you're NEVER going to be president, right? Can't dive deep into his own policies, he's busy running for president. Can't put together past and current tax return, he's busy running for president. Hey Bernie, you know that the Presidency is pretty much a multi-tasking position right? |

35. Are we to assume that he wasn't following the case?
I know, he's too busy running for president.
Did he have no opinion as to its outcome? The issue is key to his platform. It seemed ill-advised that he wasn't ready for some form of that question. Not exactly Presidential qualities exhibited there... |

40. It is mind numbing how he would not have particulars
...at this point in the race. He has made "breaking up the banks" a central campaign issue. Clearly his whole campaign is a sham.
He does nothing to help other Dems get elected, either. He should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail--figuratively--of course! What is the matter with his supporters? ![]() ![]() |

6. I thought Nina Turner was great! Strong, clear, kick-ass advocate for Sanders!
Barney was just bloviating. Not convincing at all.
Turner was talking about a Congress WITH AN 8% APPROVAL RATING. And the majority of the Democratic corporate congressional critters support Clinton. No surprise there. Slavery also had majorities of corrupt congress critters at one time. Perfectly apt analogy. We are now all slaves to the Wall Street banksters and transglobal corporations that call all the shots in Washington DC. Is it right? NO! They buy elections and congress critters. Is it right? NO! No surprise at all that their congress critters would be behind the Goldman Sachs candidate. |

15. Yup, Nina sure didn't deliver Ohio for Bernie.
Nina can't even get herself elected in Ohio.
Which reminds me. A lot of Ohio Dem women who were long time Hillary supporters worked their butts off to help Nina in her Sec of State run in Ohio. Then she stabbed them in the back by flipping from Hillary to Bernie. When they told her they were disappointed she went with Bernie, Turner went into a rage and said something like "I'm not your slave!" She was so offensive...and clueless. Not only did she fail to express any gratitude for their hard work, but she called them racists to boot. |
