The Power Principle

Long, 3 parts, almost 4.5 hours. Worth it.

The Power Principle

A gripping, deeply informative account of the plunder, hypocrisy, and mass violence of plutocracy and empire; insightful, historically grounded and highly relevant to the events of today.

This documentary is about the foreign policy of the United States. It demonstrates the importance of the political economy, the Mafia principle, propaganda, ideology, violence and force.

It documents and explains how the policy is based on the interest of major corporations and a tiny elite to increase profits and the United States governments own interests in maintaining and expanding it’s imperialistic influence.

Inside the United States this has been made possible with a propaganda of fear for the horrible enemies like the Soviet Union, Communists and so on and a love for “free markets”, “democracy”, “freedom” and so on.

Have marked it to see as soon as possible.

So glad for the opportunity to absorb something this important to serious people.

Thank you for finding it, for making it available here.

This is exactly what we need to know.

I tried to watch it, but it was low quality (maybe the Internet is running slow). I'm amused when I see Americans "discover" the USA is always trying to expand its imperial tentacles. What happened, too any John Wayne movies make you forget how the Sioux lands were stolen?

What needs to be understood by everybody is our human nature. We are designed to survive. And our survival mechanism involves domination of our surroundings. In this sense the USA ruling class behaves exactly the same as the elites of ancient empires, the Assyrians, Persians, Macedonians, Romans, English, Han Chinese, Mongols, Aztecs, Incas and Mayas, Zulus and Hausa, Germans, Soviets, Red Chinese, Japanese, Argentinians, Brazilians and Cubans. Everybody is the same. The key is not to fall into the most common trap there is: we are exceptional, our religion gives us special rights, our genes are better, our political system is best...or the latest lies: we want to free the people, we want to end poverty, we want social justice...when it comes to reality, what everyone of these guys wants is to control our lives and squeeze our souls.

Your description of human nature and domination of surroundings is as much a myth/illusion as the other myths you mention.

Cheers.
