Caracas down to Zero murders in last 3 days
Ministro Rodríguez Torres: Caracas down to Zero murders in last 3 days
Minister Rodríguez Torres: no homicides in Caracas for three days Homeland 26/05/13.- Operation "Safe Homeland" in the Capital District has been very successful. For the last "three days we had zero homicides. That is something almost miraculous for the city of Caracas, considering the large numbers of people who live in this city." ... The official said that having an index like this in two weeks "encourages us to further refine the method to continue providing security for the people." Worth remembering that the Homeland Secure Plan was activated in the Capital District and Miranda on 13 May and later in the states of Zulia, Lara and Carabobo. ... http://www.ciudadccs.info/?p=427807

2. Quite impressive.
Three days without murders in a city with 3 million inhabitants? Almost miraculous indeed.
Glad you shared this. Thanks. |

3. Wow. That's going to leave a lot of people scratching their heads.
Completely unexpected.
What a leap. Should be interesting to see how this new approach works. This is a shock. Thanks! (We don't need to hold our breath for the news to be covered by our corporate "news" media. That could be dangerous for us.) |

4. Makes one wonder why they didn't try it sooner.
Maybe they should have tried putting more cops on the street sooner if it was this easy. Or maybe the bad guys were off. I bet there will be an upswing due to statistical variance.
