Two US diplomats to Venezuela shot in Caracas

Roberto Ezequiel Rosas, a military attaché of the US Embassy to Venezuela, was wounded by gunfire in his abdomen and right leg during a violent argument at Bello Campo mall, in Chacao municipality, east Caracas. Early on Tuesday, he was undergoing an exploratory surgery at a health center southeast Caracas.

Likewise, sources informed that another military official, identified as Paul Marwin, was shot as well.

The sources would not disclose the exact time of the incident.

I usually only do that once every few weeks at most as I like to get up around 5am, have dinner around 6pm, have a few beers and get to sleep by 10pm and night life around here doesn't even get going until 9:30pm.

Anyway, there are basically two kinds of American tourists. 80% nice, polite, humble people. Best tourists there could be. However then there is 20% who think "i'm away from home, I can let my true asshole show". And god, these are the loudest, most obnoxious people in the world. It's so embarassing. The obnoxious ones tend toe be the somewhat well-off 35-50 year olds who think they are on top of the world, but have a wife and kids and a monster mortgage at home and they want to stop playing "the good guy" for a few days.

It's like being rich, people think having money means all your worries are over. Then they get a little money and they spend all their time obsessing over it, and they start playing the markets, and they lose a lot, and they are even more miserable, because then they think they are losers. Meanwhile they have lost all their friends by being snotty to them about money.

They are "cookie pushers" and spies....... depending on the country of assignment.
