CFK ends China trip with 22 cooperation deals

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner ended her official trip to China and is travelling back to the country after signing 22 new bilateral agreements to boost the strategic alliance, that dealt with communications, culture, nuclear energy and aerospace technology.

During her three-days visit the head of State met with top Chinese businessmen and with China’s President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang.

Li expressed to the Argentine president his “satisfaction for the fruitful agreements reached” that “will boost” the relations between the two countries. Ms. Kirchner in turn pointed out that the bilateral relation is “a high priority” of her administration.

Dig a little deeper, and you'll see that she's fought the very same fights you stand up for too.

Why do you think she gets so much bad press in "business" rags and the neo-con yellow press? She stood up to fascists in both her own country and in vulture fund laundries, she won, and now other struggling countries are doing the same. As you know, it certainly wasn't easy.

They've been after her, too, from her first day in office. She has not backed down under incredibly underhanded, dirty moves against her.

They didn't try a lot of that stuff against her husband, Nestor Kirchner, who had been a prisoner, and tortured by the fascist military dictatorship. I got the feeling as soon as she was elected they would be testing her, coming after her, thinking she would crumble under the pressure.

Hateful, despicable fascists. They don't intend to live peacefully anywhere. It's all or nothing with them. Either they control everything, and everyone, or there's going to be evil savagery and unbearable suffering by those without power.

Great to see her smiling face again in the photo. She is tremendous. These actions matter for the well being of her country.

Progressive. Frank (sometimes a little too much so). Somewhat dark-skinned. A woman. The reactionary types - and their apologists - won't leave her alone for a second!

But then, it's never been easy to be the adult in the room.
