Brazil's right wing political campaign: street food appreciation thread

Next October we'll have municipal elections in Brazil. Time for candidates and their patrons to pretend they are people like us. A very traditional manner of doing that is eating street food along with the normal people.

Enjoy all the spontaneity and naturality of the wingers:

João Dória, candidate for mayor of São Paulo (PSDB party)

Gilberto Kassab, former mayor of São Paulo (DEM party)

José Serra, senator (PSDB party)

?w=450&h=261

Eduardo Cunha and Paulinho da Força, criminals and coup mongers

Now, this is Lula drinking a cachaça

Teach them, Dilma

Lula, Dilma, and their associates are completely comfortable around human beings, whereas the conservatives appear to feel they are being tortured!

Dilma, who has been tortured by the conservative military dictatorship certainly knows the difference, doesn't she?

As soon as I finished studying these beautifully chosen images I had to save them for future enjoyment, too, in my files.

The conservatives are all trying soooooo hard to show everyone they are simply above eating common food. Paulinho da Força looks as if someone should rush to give him a Heimlich maneuver.

Love José Serra having a refreshing sip, then a tasty bite to eat. Wow! Careful, not so fast, José.

Wouldn't you love having the Conservatives over to your house to eat? It would be stupendous to give them something they would REALLY find distasteful.

You couldn't find a better illustration of the difference in character between progressive people and whatever it is conservative people think they are.

Thank you!

Only a creep like Eduardo Cunha.

By the way, it is mean to post the picture of the food. I want some!
