Maduro promises a great economic revolution! (He's just waiting for the vote to start it!)

Maduro: Here it takes an "economic revolution" and the only one who can lead it is me
May 16, 2018

Oleg Kostko / ND / May 16 2018.- President Nicolás Maduro reiterated this Wednesday that, if he wins next Sunday, he will lead a "great economic revolution", in which he placed emphasis on the commerce sector and consumer prices. This was said during the closing ceremony of the campaign in Maracaibo, which lasted less than 40 minutes.

"We are doing many things, but there are still many more to be done. In Venezuela a great economic change is needed; We need big changes in the economy, in the daily economy. We need a new economy both in the productive sector and in the distribution, but above all in the commerce and in the price system that is where they rob the people. We need a big economic change. And who is going to make that economic change? The opposition? Henri Falcón? Or the town? Or Maduro? Yes, it's me. I'm ready. I'm ready. If you give me the power I ask you, the power of the people, the power of the vote on May 20 - and while speaking raised the right hand fist held high -, I will lead a great economic revolution, of great changes, necessary for the life of the people, for economic peace, for the necessary stability of the country. I swear to you. So shall. That's why we need a great victory on May 20."

Tee hee. "...if he wins next Sunday"

His win is assured. Not ONE viable candidate or party was allowed to run for office. His only real opponent with any recognition is a former PSUV party member (but die hard Chavista) who is more despised than Maduro.

Why wait until after the election to start "an economic miracle"? The people (90% live in poverty) have been waiting over the last 18 years for their currency to rebound (122,000,000% depreciation) since Chavez was first elected.
