Situation normal in Caracas. 1/3 of buses operating

Of 472 metrobuses in Caracas only work 175
The units have problems with spare parts such as electric motors, moving parts, tires and electrical system

The stops of Metrobús de Caracas look abandoned, with long queues that are made in vain or with waits of one or two hours.

There are some that are suspended, like Bello Monte, so those who want to go to the Acoustic Shell must walk up a long stretch.

Those that work with certain regularity are completely filled with passengers, which causes damage to the suspension and the doors of the units.

One option that the Metro de Caracas has applied is the implementation of "kennels", some white vehicles in which users sit on the sides.

Some workers, to offset their low salaries, receive the money that the same people offer them. "It's a way to earn something more," said a company employee who asked for his identity to be safeguarded.

Curiously, Maduro blames the lack of spare parts for the Chinese made buses on... the United States.
