Crowd accompanies MAS candidates to registration in Bolivia

La Paz, Feb 3 (Prensa Latina) A crowd of supporters of the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) accompanied the party´s candidates for president and vice president to their registration on Monday for Bolivia's general elections, set for May 3.

The demonstration departed at noon from San Francisco Square in that capital to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal to make the candidacies of former Economy and Finance Minister Luis Arce and former Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca official.

Not only were members of the MAS party and related organizations called to the rally of support for the candidates, but also young people, members of trade associations, the working class and peasants.

According to the electoral calendar, the deadline for the admission of parties and alliances ends today at midnight, when the various political forces must have submitted the documentation required by the Plurinational Electoral Tribunal for evaluation.
