That beautiful approach too real vision, it was amazing!

If the fascists can still block this important progress there is still a tremendous length of time ahead to "git'er done." Especially after the legislature's elites lose their grip in the next election.

Thanks, sandensea.

Glad you liked it. That's Buenos Aires' Congressional Plaza - where so many demonstrations (right and left) take place.

Reviving public broadcasting has been one of Fernández's less-noticed - but nonetheless significant - achievements thus far.

Macri basically tried to shut it all down - much to the amusement of his friends at Clarín. It was public broadcasting staff themselves who, more than anyone, kept those services alive in 2016-19. Most earn under $1,000 a month.

As far as the bill itself, its passage is far from certain - even with Fernández as president.

In the Lower House: 113 have come out in favor; 101, against; and 43 remain undecided.

In the Senate: 33 are in favor; 35, opposed; and 4, undecided.

Will it pass both houses, then? Your guess is as good as mine.
