President Jair Bolsonaro's government has the approval of 24% of Brazilians, the worst rate of his term so far, according to a survey by the Datafolha institute. The percentage of those who considered his management to be excellent or good was 30% in March, when the previous survey was carried out.
Those who reject the government, considering it bad or terrible, were 44% and 45% in the new survey, carried out between this Tuesday (11) and this Wednesday (12), with 2,071 face-to-face interviews in 146 municipalities across the country. The margin of error is 2 percentage points.

The current government, which took over the Planalto Palace in January 2019, is rated as regular by 30% of respondents, a percentage higher than the 24% in March; 1% did not give an opinion.
The new round of Datafolha also showed a rocky path for Bolsonaro in his already announced 2022 reelection attempt. According to the institute, 54% say they would not vote for him at all, and ex-president Lula (PT), his main opponent, leads the race for the Presidency.
