Bolsonaro government allies presented suggestions for changes in administrative reform to preserve electoral bases and extend benefits to some categories, especially military and security forces.

The amendments made by Bolsonaro-allied congressmen dilute the effects of the proposed amendment to the constitution presented to Congress by the team of economy minister Paulo Guedes.

One of the proposals seeks to apply to agents of the federal, state and district legislative, federal, civil and criminal police the rules for calculating and adjusting pensions in force in the Armed Forces.

Others are trying to apply the same rules as police to municipal guards by inserting them in the constitutional text. Thus, the class would have different age and contribution time for retirement.
