Police enter university, evict protesters in Peru

Peru is seeing some of its worst political violence in decades, forcing the closure of iconic landmarks.

This is the first I've heard of the cops going into the university. (This happened in Chile during the coup by Pinochet, and they snatched students and faculty, taking them to torture, interrogate, and murder.) Seems radical, of course, just in going into the university. Will post more on this thread if I see it.
