Adams is on a tour of Latin America to tell migrants that New York City is 'at capacity' and they 'won't get five-star hotels' if they come to the Big Apple.
Others gathered to protest the mayor during his final stop. One sign read: 'Go back to New Jersey you migrant hating creep.'
Adams wrapped up his 'vanity tour' of South and Central America calling for the right to work for migrants in the US.
'When you look at Colombia they have really shown how to absorb individuals into their societies, and one of the most important ways to do it is to allow people to work,' Adams told reporters in Necocli.
'Nothing is more humane and, nothing is more American than your right to work, and we believe that is a right we should extend.'
