This is vulgar US bully politics.
And that said, both crime and the healthcare facilities need urgent attention but both preceded the official visit from the Chinese foreign minister.
This would be funny if it wasn’t serious.

My late uncle loved Jamaica and travelled there nearly every year before he passed on. He raved about the people, the food, the rum(!), the natural beauty and the energy on the island of “Out of Many One People.” I always meant to go there with him but other things always made it a trip for “next year,” which sadly never came.

Do the dangers outlined in the report extend to locals as well as visitors? Are the causes the same as everywhere? Are you safe, malaise?

A State Department warning, such as this one, must be devastating for Jamaica’s tourism business.

Good luck!
