No missing person's report filed in Nuevo Laredo police chief's disappearance

Officials in the Tamaulipas Attorney General's office said there was no official missing person's report filed concerning the disappearance about one week ago of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico police chief Roberto Alejandro Garza Balmori.

A source in state government said nobody has filed such a report with the AG's office concerning his disappearance.

The source spoke under the condition of anonymity.

He said AG officials are investigating the Friday disappearance and subsequent deaths of Manuel Balmori Garza and José Alberto Balmori Garza, who are Roberto Alejandro's brothers.
