Lawsuits

Earlier this year, I got a postcard about a class action settlement concerning a data breach at the hospital I use. I just sat down and checked to see it if is legitimate, and it is. I submitted it onilne, rather than use the pre-paid postcard to send my contact information in the mail.

I was talking on the phone to my friend last week, and she mentioned she got a scam letter and a gift card. As she read some of the information, I looked it up online and found that the letter and giftcard are from a settlement from Ohio power companies resulting from the racketeering conviction against larry householder, an Ohio r. and the electric companies who connived to get HB6 passed.

I remember when a person brought the lawsuit. Now it seems, we are included whether we know it or not.

It was a surprise, but I desperately needed it at the time. There had been a class action lawsuit against them for their illegal and deplorable actions. It did not make up for them foreclosing on my farm though....
