Our intention is that the group is welcoming to all, inclusive to differing points of view on
topics covering national/international issues related to and affecting our personal and collective economic well being.
To the right of the Blue "Post a Thread to this Group" button is a lighter blue button that says "About This Group"
Clicking on it will describe the host moderation functions and identify the current hosts of the group.
Come on in, pull up a chair, the more the merrier.

(60,160 posts)All of us make it what it is, what it can be.
Group host only addresses one thing: OP's that do not fit the group purpose.
Which hardly ever show up in Economy.
threads that don't fit? That is for each member to decide on.
See? I went the lazy route, so I could have more time to read up and post about econ stuff.

(16,881 posts)Economics, like sex, is probably (and probably unfortunately) all-pervasive, everywhere.
BTW. Do you know if DU3 is supposed to somehow apply that unspecified list of sites "frowned upon" as links by mods at the previous DU incarnation? I don't see where jurors are informed of the existence of such a list in DU3. Are hosts?

(60,160 posts)The group members formed the welcoming message.
The host role is only to respond to any alerts, sort of a "just in case it is ever needed" role.
And so far there have been none, which says a lot about the this group.
Looking forward to your posts!
