(17,857 posts)The lowest **loss** I saw was 1292; the highest 2144. Is that anything to inspire confidence? Or is there something I'm not seeing here?
I've asked this often enough over the past, what, 12-15 years -- at least since Obama's 2008 victory -- but all of this volatility is artificial, isn't it? It's not really indicative of where the day-to-day, real world economy is or is going.
Are we finally, maybe, starting to get a look at just how artificial it is?
I don't usually get much time to spend on SMW, but today presented a weird confluence of events, and I have to be online most of the day to take care of some personal business. It was supposed to be over and done with early this morning, but some details are still being worked out, so here I am, flipping between Google Finance and DU, shaking my head through it all.
Maybe it's time we start some of our old discussions up again.
