Kroger wants to buy Albertsons in a nearly $25 billion.
Bad news, imo. I hope 'regulators,' FTC and DoJ Antitrust, division get into this.

Now I haven't read it in awhile but seems to me they tried a couple upstarts in CA and Lucky's in FL, no dice. They own Turkey Hill, so it's not like they haven't gotten into just about everything where I live. I do notice, mid-Atlantic here, that co-op Shop Rite has spiffed up its stores and reworked its branding. Don't know if its being primed for sail, but wouldn't Kroger like to bag that regional gem?
