The fight against fast track for the TPP trade agreement moves to the U.S. House after the Memorial Day break. Labor continued it’s opposition to TPP fast track over the Memorial Day weekend, targeting some Democratic House members who support fast track. Labor and its allies on this issue are urging members of the House to stand with working people against fast track which would lead to “undemocratic trade deals that lower wages and eliminate jobs.”

1. I'm afraid that this is a losing battle

I am also afraid that it will truly be the end of the country as we knew it

Between this, the extension of section 215 of the Patriot Act and the continued spying on all our citizens for the sole purpose of corporate profits, we're basically screwed.

Global warming is probably already past the point of no return. If not, the TPP will do it. The oil spills, nuclear (avoidable) accidents, fracking and all the horrific ramifications from it e.g., earthquakes, contaminated air, earth, water, exploding trains spewing hell into the area, etc. Just so much more.

In addition, we have corporate thieves taking public water and selling it for their profit. Corporate thieves stealing copper from sacred native American grounds, mamals, fish and birds contaminated and dying all over the place, GMO crap in everything we put in our bodies.

And all of that will only increase with the TPP.
