I don't know who had a bone to pick with me but YOU screwed the DU on a INTERNATIONAL breaking story

X post from GD

Hosts and jury members. This post does not name a DUer. It places no blame on hosts. Leave this OP alone. I just want the DU to know what somebody did, probably because of me.

As to who turned in the alert, I have no idea. I'm not a host. The hosts did their job as they see it. I have no quarrel with them.

But as to the reason a DUer would intentionally kill a INTERNATIONALNATIONAL breaking story I can't understand. Is it me? Are you anti-union? Work for Verizon in management?.

So we had the story and somebody just couldn't stand a breaking story. We beat EVERYBODY to it.

Statement of Purpose

Post the latest news from reputable mainstream news websites and blogs. Important news of national interest only. No analysis or opinion pieces. No duplicates. News stories must have been published within the last 12 hours. Use the published title of the story as the title of the discussion thread.

Apparently YOU don't consider the CWA a trustworthy source. Well I hope you learned a lesson today. It cost the DU, if you care.

Below you can see Fortune, UPI, and Salon picked up what the DU broke hours in advance.

Pat yourself on the back for getting to a dementia patient!

Being pro-labor just isn't the Democratic way anymore. Or maybe you said something positive about Sanders.

has a beef with labor unions? I won't call them out, but a rather prolific poster apparently does.

If a jury voted to hide it then I would be concerned about who is here at DU.

It was an alert to the hosts. I have no problem with the lock. At that time of the day hosts are often by themselves to make a decision. As a former host I understand that and back those that had to make the decision.

I just wonder what the reasons were behind the alert. I have a lot of enemies on the DU. Anti-union? Because I'm outspoken on Bernie? No idea why whomever did this.

But it did hurt. Maybe that was what they wanted.

with a certain candidate preference who express ideas that things used to be better than they are now. Most of the younger people think conditions and opportunities have always been like they are now. A lot of people of a certain viewpoint do not like that things can be better and once were.
