Related: About this forumQuestion about who to list as a job reference:
I'm applying for a job that's all about the work I did for a decade, but haven't done at all for 10 years. I am still connected to one of my former supervisors, but the others have either died or I've lost complete touch with them. I'm still in contact with some of the community leaders I worked with in those jobs, though. I'm required to submit three professional references. Do I include my one former supervisor and my two current supervisors who can't speak directly to my competency at my former tasks? Or should I use all old references, two of whom were never my supervisors? What do you think, O Great Group Mind?
