Christmas is coming - consider my books for your garden loving family members!

Hey all - just to let you know that my major career change - chemist/project mgr in Pharma (which ended in 2008) to garden writer and lecturer (launched with my first book in late Dec 2014) is complete.

What a difference - traffic, the corporate world - but a regular paycheck - to living off of our creativity (my wife makes and sells memory and Tshirt quilts).

By the way - my wife makes superb memory quilts - her website, with all necessary info, is here - http://seedlingssewn.weebly.com/t-shirt-and-memory-quilts.html

I hope folks here who love gardening, or have friends and family members that do, will consider my books - Epic Tomatoes (Storey Publishing, which came out in Dec 2014), and Growing Vegetables in Straw Bales (Storey, out in a few months - Dec 2015). They should be available in most bookstores, and through whatever websites you use for your book purchases.

The Amazon links for each are here

Straw Bale gardening (you can preorder now) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1612126146/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=0KMA8D485MSGDRRSE304&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop

If anyone would like signed softcover copies, just get in touch with me via DU mail and we can work out the transaction.

ALSO - if any of you live near botanic gardens or arboretums that host garden speakers, I am working on my 2016/2017 schedule - an am always seeking places that will host me as a speaker. At this point I will be in Seattle and Chicago in February, Leesburg and Alexandria VA in March, Longwood Gardens in PA in May, and am working on Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Michigan (Dow), and Tulsa.

Thanks to all for your support and friendship!
