or whether to contribute to a Roth vs. contribute to a traditional IRA / 401K / 403B

Just my experience....

CPA's are great accountants, and for dealing with tax issues related to a past decision, yes, they are great. But as for a Roth vs. Traditional IRA decision, you would be barking up the wrong tree. In most cases. There are exceptions.
