Has anyone here opened a Socially Responsible Investment account?

If so, has it done well?

4. I invested in the Ariel fund ARGFX

It had slightly below average returns. I think the fund precludes tobacco and defense.
Since Trump, I've invested in solar and wind ETFs, and I've done well. I have a pretty small portfolio, but one ETF, Invesco Solar (TAN), is up 70% for the year.

12. I have some money in ICLN ETF

It grew 9%-10% since I bought it in March and it returned a dividend. I can't complain. That said, this year was unique for it.

For giggles, I went to Fidelity and screened for "Leader" in MSCI Overall Environmental, Social & Governance Rating, MSCI Environmental Score, and MSCI Social Score. I don't know how much value to place in the ratings, but it's the only rating I have for these measures.

Those that landed atop all three categories were:
A, BKR, IMAX, INTC, LPT, PBI, WST, CLNE, JCI, OC

Of those, I own INTC and it has done OK.
