The Grommet - out of business. This was a small business
that was started by a couple of women, as I recall. They were bought out a couple of years ago and fired by the new corporate owners.
How did TG get fucked up?

I've bought a number of items from them; they had some cool and unusual stuff. I was sorry to see them go.

They were bought by Ace Hardware, but each Ace store was responsible for selling Grommet merch. I have no quarrel with Ace; my local one is great, run by really nice, helpful people. Their niche item is spicy pickles, which is weird for a hardware store but they're great pickles.
