I have an opportunity to set up an at home broadcasting studio.

I need some help. The deadline for submission is this Friday and I am completely overwhelmed.

If you could set up your own from home, zoom type studio with all the needed hardware, what would you buy? The set up should include cameras, laptop, microphones, lighting and any software and hardware to set up an office, like a three way print, copy and fax machine. Add in things like supplies; paper, pens, resource books for, in this case, seasonal arts and crafts for children. What would you buy?

Money is no object.

I have to submit my proposal this Friday, October 23rd. I know that's short notice but I just found out about it.

Sorry I do not have answers. You might want to look at hogh end gaming laptops as they are made for intense graphics applications.

You can also source desk, bookcases & books to fill them, desk lamp (?), etc., scanner (?), etc. While awaiting info from experts.

Google web cams? Some really nice ones out there.

4. Do not neglect careful consideration of backgrounds and what might be included in camera angle

Nothing personal about family, nothing incriminating, no Jeffrey angles, have a physical cover for the camera, even if it is a hat.

Book titles are always interesting, but may be distracting. Plain is dull. Some middle balance?

Video lighting tends to soft and broad, which means that the bigger angle the lighting makes from the subject's position, the softer it comes out on camera. Check the test runs for reflections and bright hot spots of white or colour in the background, even behind you because you may not be "on set" every minute the camera is live.
