We Made Plastic. We Depend on It. Now We're Drowning in It

I've posted a lot about plastic because I think it's an important issue and one that we have the power to do something about. Here is an in-depth look at the issue...

If plastic had been invented when the Pilgrims sailed from Plymouth, England, to North America—and the Mayflower had been stocked with bottled water and plastic-wrapped snacks—their plastic trash would likely still be around, four centuries later.

This is definitely as serious as nuclear waste IMO


I look around my house and everywhere I go in my life and feel guilty about all of it.

Instead of petroleum based as today.

Bad choice going with petroleum.

to at least replace sandwich bags. So far my 2 local grocery stores don't carry it. I need to find it soon, I only have 5 sandwich bags left. Next up the switch over to paper straws.
