It currently has 40+ species of grasses and flowers, along with a small pond for frogs, native hazel, plum and chokeberry shrubs at the edges, and a few dwarf chinkapin oaks to simulate native bur oaks but on a smaller scale (they only get 15' tall vs 60'). Almost everything I grew from locally harvested seeds or prairie restoration specialized nurseries.

I burn half of it every year to maintain habitat for overwintering insects. I'm going to double it's size this year.
