In 2006 the anomaly burped briefly, then in 2007 it revealed itself in all its tipped-over glory.

...grasping how big this event is. It's come much sooner than I realized. When I was saying renewables wouldn't stem catastrophic climate change ... it was already too fucking late.

I don't see the human race getting it's shit together in time to do anything but try to survive.

There was a time, just a few short years ago, when I thought, 'my husband & I are going to be exiting this planet just in time.' With each new report it's looking less & less that way.

I doubt that's a coincidence. It appears that in 2006 a climatological screw came loose and we have been in Bizarro World ever since.
