Mycle Schneider is an independent consultant who has previously advised the French and German governments.
He says water is leaking out all over the site and there are no accurate figures for radiation levels.
"What is the worse is the water leakage everywhere else - not just from the tanks. It is leaking out from the basements, it is leaking out from the cracks all over the place. Nobody can measure that.

Below are pics showing the increased # of tanks to hold more and more and more contaminated water.
Seems obvious that there is less and less room to put the tanks.

(39,166 posts)The second worst accident in nuclear energy history will cause fewer fatalities than if the plant's energy had been generated with coal. Most antinukes either can't understand that undeniable fact, or don't want to, preferring to indulge themselves in baseless and romantic theories of global destruction and nefarious coverups.
Is that you?
Meanwhile, the rest of the world's nuclear plants hum merrily along, providing terawatts of carbon-free energy and enabling the world's ill-informed Greenpeace Army to spread its ignorant message. All the while oblivious to the hundreds of thousands of people (children included) lying in hospital beds dying of coal- induced cancer, or struggling through life with mercury- induced brain damage.
It's really a shame that so many more people have to suffer because of antinukes sustaining this tabloid Fukushima nonsense by clicking on these stupid stories, doncha think?

(51,076 posts)Should never have been given the green light to use splitting atoms to boil water to begin with. At the very least they should have been forced to develop a way to stop the process once accidents happen.
Accidents are going to happen, thats why they're called accidents

(60,010 posts)I cannot think of any end to the problem, in as much as TEPCO and the Gov't insist on lying about the problem.
Not to mention other countries are not publicly saying a word either.
