Is China seeking regime-change in North Korea?

The sudden reduction in aggressive rhetoric and actions by North Korea has led to suggestions that Pyongyang has realized it has pushed its only ally in the region to the brink of severing its friendship. Intelligence sources have stated that Beijing has a contingency plan in place for when Kim Jong-un's control over the country crumbles. The reports confirm that China is indeed quietly encouraging regime change and is grooming Kim's brother, Kim Jong-nam to take over his role. The reports suggest that after Kim Jong-nam is installed in Pyongyang, his brother will be permitted to go into exile, probably in China. China may be dreaming of appointing Kim Jong-nam as the new king. The atmosphere between the two nations is changing. China may have decided that it is time for a regime-change in the North, they will not permit the collapse of the country because they do not want chaos on their own borders.

They've been misbehaving and not in a small way, either.

They do this all the time, and it seems it coincides with the "starving season"--the time when all the winter crops that have been put by are eaten, but there's nothing yet coming up out of the ground to eat.

They think they can scare the world into buying them a meal, it seems.

The big question is, who's really running that nuthouse? Is Little Kim really in charge, or is some asshole from the Army in a Great Big Hat pulling the strings? Will "regime change" result in "Meet the new boss, same as the crazy old boss?" And what about the fact that the present Little Kim, in all his chubby glory, has been touted as the reincarnation of the original Big Fat Dear Leader--Little Kim's old grampa??

And would he e content to leave? Would he like China? Would Dennis Rodman visit?

If I were him I'd be afraid to leave, for fear I'd be killed. It's a fair fear to have.

China probably helped install Kim in the first place. I can't imagine the aggressive posture of the country would change if he was removed and replaced. That would be extremely risky. Still, if China did do something positive in terms of halting North Korea's rhetoric , surely such a move would be broadly welcomed by the world and especially the United States. Just look at the way China and North Korea are viewed in the United States according to statistics. Something really has to get better and China need to reign in their buffer state. It's becoming more of a liability than anything.
