Related: About this forumI want to hear potential presidential candidates position on Venezuela.
They all sound good on domestic issues, but I'm concerned about the neoconservative, interventionist thread in the party.
To make my position clear, I don't think the United States has the right to call for, actively work for, and use military force to cause regime change in other countries. I hope regime change in Venezuela does not become a Democratic Party platform item.

(15,216 posts)presidential and congressional candidate has to answer about national and international issues.
Maybe 200 if we include things like loyalty, honesty, assets, affiliations, etc.
Standardize this survey and disqualify anyone who won't supply the answers and bona fides.

(2,419 posts)I suspect the U.S. decisions made on Syria -- "We must replace Assad" --by the Obama administration (including HRC) and then Trump led to the refugee crisis of today and a strategic rebalancing that helped Russia, Turkey and Iran.

(428 posts)...but I already have so many issues that I inevitably will be told amount to me "just wanting a pony" or "demanding purity" if I raise concerns over a candidates position on. I'm not sure I can take one more.
